MakeFamilyTree.org provides a free browser-based family tree editor. We designed the editor so you can create and export a family tree without creating an account.
2. Information You Enter
The editor lets you enter names, relationships, ages, short notes, and optional profile images. This family tree data is saved in your browser's local storage so the editor can remember your work on the same device and browser.
We do not operate user accounts, and we do not provide cloud storage or account-based recovery for family trees. If you clear browser storage, use another browser, or switch devices, your local tree may no longer be available.
3. Images and Exports
Uploaded profile images are processed in your browser for display and export. Exported PNG or JPG files are generated in your browser and downloaded to your device.
4. Analytics, Ads, and Cookies
We may use Google Tag Manager, analytics tools, and Google AdSense to understand site usage, improve the service, and display advertising. These services may use cookies, web beacons, IP addresses, device information, browser information, and similar identifiers.
